Another amazing thing I was introduced to from a podcast (oddly enough it is the same podcast that introduced me to Love Powered Co.’s Femme Affirmation cards).

Julian Brass gives such a unique perspective on how to deal with, and manage your anxiety. His theory is instead of working against it, try and embrace it as your own unique super power. His perspective was one that instantly changed my life.

Forever I had been focusing on trying to get “better”, and trying to ignore my anxiety, the idea of embracing it never occurred to me. Upon reading his book, it was like the clouds had parted, and I could see clearly for the first time. My whole life I felt as thought I was told that my anxiety was something to be hidden, and ashamed of. I decided to embrace my anxiety, and rock it like it’s the hottest new accessory. Talk about life changing.
